What is Autoimmune Disease?

Autoimmune Disease is when your immune system mistakenly attacks your body. Your immune system is designed to protect you from getting sick by attacking foreign  invaders like viruses and bacteria. With autoimmune disease there is a miscommunication somewhere and your immune system thinks you’re being attacked and goes full ops against healthy cells. Doctors don’t know why this happens. There are a lot of theories; however, no concrete answers. That’s what we’re here for, to investigate these theories and try to get closer to an answer. When you find “The Why”, then I believe you can find the solution.
